Using WordPress on a PHP driven website

Recently eantics digital marketing separated their blog from their main website. Correct us if we’re wrong, but it is our understanding that before both the website and the blog were WordPress driven.

Anyways, their website is coded in PHP and they have their blog hanging under a subdomain, hosted on WordPress (what else?).

Although the decision to separate the two is obviously taken with plenty of consideration, it still would be nice to be able to import WordPress data into their main website; for example things like Recent Posts.

Oliver Philips, one of eantics’ driving forces, has just blogged about “a simple PHP class file which, once included in your website’s webpage and loaded, will allow you to include WordPress post data like titles and permalinks to the blog posts themselves in your website.”

In his article Oliver explains in detail how the procedure works and has included a zip file that contains the two files you need to get WordPress posts onto your website.

We hope you can benefit from this WordPress Tip and if you do, thank Oliver!
